If your hearing aids need to be repaired, we can help! The staff at the Advanced Hearing Group are often able to perform most repairs in the same day. Using a hearing aid requires some regular maintenance and sometimes repair. Routine cleanings can be performed on a regular basis based on the needs of the patient. If a hearing aid stops functioning, many times our audiologists can fix it in the office while you wait. Other times the hearing aid may need to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. The amount of maintenance and repairs your hearing aids may require highly depend on how well you care for your hearing aids on a day-to-day basis.

 

Making sure your hearing aids are properly cleaned and routinely checked will not only help you hear better, but also extend the life of your hearing aids.

Basic cleaning and care are critical to good sound quality and function of the hearing aid. To keep your hearing aids in good working order so that you are always hearing as clearly as possible, we recommend that you schedule an appointment for your hearing aids to be cleaned and checked every 3-6 months.
